SOUTH BEND, IN – April 24, 2017 – Abtrex Industries Senior Project Manager, Ken O’Konski, passed the Alabama Business and Law exam, obtaining the Alabama General Contractors License for Abtrex. Passing this exam was a key factor in expanding Abtrex’s fabrication and construction services to Alabama and other new venues across the United States.

“By obtaining this state-approved license, Abtrex Industries can handle larger capital projects for our clients, while continuing to extend the reach of our construction services arm. It’s all part of our never-ending pursuit of growing our business in a way that benefits our customers,” said Kevin Couvillion, Operations Manager at the Indiana Division of Abtrex Industries, Inc.

The General Contractors License allows Abtrex to bid on and complete projects where the cost of the undertaking is fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or more. Alabama has reciprocity agreements in the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee, which will assist Abtrex in becoming licensed in multiple jurisdictions.

Abtrex Industries has provided professional services and quality products as the leader in corrosion control for almost 50 years.
